John Hansen, Groomsmen

In case you couldn't tell by the last name, John is my brother. In case you couldn't tell by the aliases, he is quite a character. John has an amazing amount of talent and creativity, especially when it comes to designing websites and TV production.

How did John get the name "Chainsaw?" We're not sure. But we think it has something to do with the movie "Summer School." What we do know is that Chainsaw is, as they say in the WWE, "hardcore." Johna and Chainsaw are the only two people I know who WANTED to be fully awake when having their wisdom teeth removed. I think the two of them are crazy for that, but it seems to have created some sorta weird bond between them.

John has always been there for me. He continues to impress me with the way that he always looks out for the family. A few years ago, with our entire family around the table, he said "I don't care what happens, right here, right now, we all make a pact to stick together and to never loose touch with one another, no matter where our lives go, or how busy we are." Its that kind of thing that makes me look up to my younger brother.

John has lots of comedic "bits" that he uses from time to time. I swear he keeps a book of "funny things to do or say" and just won't admit it. From time to time, if one of his jokes doesn't get enough laughter, he makes a gesture (usually toward Johna) like he's pulling down a projector screen so he can teach us why that joke was funny.

John is truly a big teddy bear. I didn't quite know what to think of him when Kevin and I first met but after a while I grew to love him. He loves to make fun of me when I don't get his jokes (I'm a bit blonde sometimes) but takes the time to "pull down his drawing board" and explain them to me step by step.

I love dishing out "big sister" advice to him about dating and he loves to dish out advice on my singing talents, or lack thereof... "I don't wanna wait..." John has his own nickname for me and he is the only one allowed to call me that. You'll have to ask him what it is.
