Katrina is my favorite sister. Sure, she's my only one, but if I had two, she'd still be my favorite.

Katrina has a sense of humor that some people never develop all their lives. She comes out with the funniest jokes, usually when you never expect it.

I'm surprised at how easy it always is to get into an adult conversation with Katrina. I'm also impressed at how she'll stop you to ask questions, to make sure she understands what you're talking about.

What amazes me most about Katrina is that she has this ability to teach me things. She's taught me simple things like how to find cool icons for AOL Instant Messenger or what items at Abercrombie are "must haves" (which oddly enough, is usually anything in the store). She also teaches me things without even realizing it. Her passion for dance has taught me not only how to appreciate dance, but how to go after something you feel so strongly about. Her determination and drive to be the best she can be in any dance routine inspires me to work hard at the things I feel strongly about. -- Not bad for a 12 year old, eh?

Having a baby sister has always been one of the coolest things to me. My brothers and I were her Godparents at her baptism. I always thought that of that as the first event of many when all 4 of us kids would be there, side-by-side for each other at important milestones in our lives. Its for that reason that it means so much to me for her to be part of my wedding. Thank you, T!

Katrina was only 4 when Kevin and I started dating and I’ve gotten to see her grow up almost as if she were my little sister. I still remember the phase she went through when the only thing she would eat was macaroni and cheese. I remember reading Disney books to her and putting her hair in pigtails and ponytails with big, colorful bows.

Now she’s such a little lady and all grown up. It’s scary to hear her talk about boys and going to movies and dances with her friends. She’s grown up so fast and now gives me fashion advice. I really look forward to doing “girly” things with her like shopping and getting manicures or just laying by the pool chatting.

Thanks for being a part of our special day Katrina. It really means a lot to Kevin and I that you will be standing by our sides on our wedding day.

Love, Your big sister
